Hotel Virgin Galactic is a boutique hotel located in the deserts of New Mexico near Upham. The hotel accommodates ten wealthy guests of the soon-to-be constructed Spaceport America. The hotel experience features two separate rooms for each client.
The first room is a re-purposed cross-sectioned fuselage sourced from the nearby aircraft graveyards. These fuselage-rooms also serve as a monorail transportation system to and from the spaceport for guests. These small rooms serve to prepare the guests for the confines of the cramped space vessel.
After the guests return from space, the monorail cars dock onto the opposite side of the structure where the guests are released into new rooms made of the earth and composed of a series of gradual ramps to assist the guests with their readjustment to gravity. These rooms are linked to a large central pool linking the guests to a large xeriscape garden.
